Application in Photovoltaic Inverters - SIP-HV Series Reed Relay

The inverter design of the transformer has significant advantages in improving overall efficiency and reducing costs. However, due to the lack of safety isolation provided by the transformer, there are safety risks. Therefore, new safety mechanisms need to be added, such as isolation resistance testing, to test the grounding insulation before the inverter is grounded and starts running, ensuring higher safety.

The inverter design of the transformer has significant advantages in improving overall efficiency and reducing costs. However, due to the lack of safety isolation provided by the transformer, there are safety risks. Therefore, new safety mechanisms need to be added, such as isolation resistance testing, to test the grounding insulation before the inverter is grounded and starts operating, ensuring higher safety.

The fully sealed high-voltage, high-insulation resistance reed relay from Mirelay ensures the safety performance of the inverter to ground, with an insulation withstand voltage of up to 4000VDC between contacts and between contacts and coils, as well as an insulation resistance value of 10TΩ.

The MiRelay high-voltage high-insulation reed relay has a disconnection resistance of 100G ohms, ensuring that the MOSFET sensor array is completely isolated from the ground before the inverter is activated.

      SIP-HV reed relay series:

  •  Contact form: 1A
  •  Load current: 2.5A
  •  Load voltage: 1000VDC
  •  Dielectric withstand voltage: 4000VDC
  •  Coil voltage: 5/12/24  (V)
